The new Journal of Ecological History will feature a selection of research articles by distinguished scholars from both China and the West, as well as book reviews and a round table discussion about how environmental history can or should be useful beyond academia.

The annual journal will be the first Chinese publication of its kind, bringing together international and domestic voices of the field.

It is a joint project of the various groups of environmental history, that have been established at universities around the country.

Primary language of the journal is Chinese. Therefore selected English content will be accessible through this website.
