中国人民大学国学院教授、博士生导师，关注秦汉历史与社会的多个方面，在环境史领域的代表作为《秦汉时期生态环境研究》（北京大学出版社，2007）。曾翻译日本学者梅棹忠夫《文明的生态史观》（三联书店上海分店，1988），并在国学院和香港科技大学开设“中国古代生态环境史”课程。

Prof. Wang Zijin is teaching at the School of Traditional Chinese Culture at RUC. His research interests cover various aspects of history and society during the Qin and Han dynasties. His major publication in environmental history is Ecology and Environment in the Period of Qin and Han Dynasty. He also has translated History of Civilization from the Ecological Perspective by Japanese scholar Umesao Tadao and taught a course entitled “Ancient Chinese Ecological History” at RUC and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
