先后就读于吉林大学考古系与中国人民大学,获历史学博士学位,现为中国人民大学历史学院讲师,主要研究领域为早期人类活动与环境的关系、城市考古等,开设环境考古、中国古代都城考古、中亚考古等课程。曾参与编著全国首部环境考古教材《环境考古学》(汤卓炜主编,科学出版社,2004),发表《白音长汗遗址石制品原料》、《中国古代军事与环境关系简论》、《内蒙古金斯太洞穴遗址发掘简报》等考古报告或学术论文。
Wang Xiaokun received his bachelor’s degree in 1997. Then he was engaged in archaeological excavation and field work in the Inner Mongolia Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology from 1997 to 2005. He went to graduate school at Jilin University in 2002, earned his masters degree in environmental archaeology, and received his Ph.D. from RUC in 2008. Since his graduation, he has been on the faculty of the School of History at RUC. He has been teaching courses on environmental archeology, urban archeology of ancient China, and Mid-Asian archeology. He is one of the major editors and writers of Environmental Archaeology, the first Chinese textbook on environmental archaeology, and the author of various articles in the field. His current academic interests focus on the relationship between early human activities and environment and urban archeology.
