北京大学历史系毕业，获博士学位，美国密歇根大学访问学者。现为中国人民大学历史学院副教授，硕士生导师。主要从事美国史研究，尤其是美国自然资源政策史研究，著有《美国资源资源政策史》一书，发表《论密西西比河湿地保护措施对黄河三角洲湿地保护的借鉴》等论文。未来的研究方向将以某一特定资源的政府政策为主线，逐渐将研究视角延伸到其他国家。

Dr. Song Yunwei is associate professor of American History at the School of History at Renmin University of China. She graduated from Peking University with a Ph.D. in history and has lectured at the University of Michigan. Her research emphasis lies on the history of American natural resource polices. She has published two monographs, one of them is History of Natural Resources Policy in the USA. She has published many papers, including a study of the Experience of Wetland Protection in Louisiana and the Restoration of Wetlands in the Yellow River Delta. Her future research will focus on government policies in specific natural resources and will extend to other countries.
