在近代经史嬗变的过程中,陈黻宸肯定了章学诚“六经皆史”说的“尊经重史”思路。在此基础上,为应对近代学术和社会的变迁,他以史为媒介,调和今古文之争;赋予史学“道德之权舆”的功能,以史代经,实现经学的道德教化功用。这一“六经皆史”论的泛化,不仅为保留传统文化的精华提供了思路,也丰富了“新史学”运动。
In modern history,as far as the theory of "Six Traditional Chinese Classics All Belonging to History Books" is concerned,Chen Fu-chen agrees with Zhang Xue-cheng's viewpoint on its value in "Respect of Classics and Emphasis on History".In addition,Chen makes use of history as a medium to settle the long-time disputes,and thus entitles history to "ethical right".He replaces classics with history and makes classics play the role of ethical education.This kind of generalization of the theory of" Six Traditional Chinese Classics All Belonging to History Books" helps not only to retain the traditional culture,but also to enrich the "New History" movement.
