The forum was co-hosted by Renmin University of China and Soochow University in the afternoon of May 18, 2025. It was organized by the Qingfeng Academic Association of Renmin University and the Graduate Student Union of Soochow University. Young scholars and graduate students from twelve universities (domestic and international) and representatives from five academic societies focused on humanities and AI discussed the conference’s theme: “The Imagination of Humanities: Interdisciplinary Dialogue of Youth in the AI Era.” Specifically, discussions centered on "Cognition," "interdisciplinarity," "Creation," and "Coexistence." Attendees unanimously emphasized that technological innovation must be rooted in humanistic spirit. They also agreed on the importance of deepening ethics in human-machine collaboration and of maintaining disciplinary subjectivity in order to promote breakthroughs in humanities during the AI era. The forum provided an interdisciplinary platform for showcasing the courage and academic responsibility of young scholars while exploring new intellectual frontiers in the humanities.
