About the journal: For a long time, the study of Qing history has formed a unique research tradition in China, and numerous landmark works and leading figures have appeared in this field.

In the international field of Chinese Studies, the study of Qing history has also gradually evolved from a dynastic history approach into a multidisciplinary field that attracts frequent attention. It is rapidly becoming a notable and prominent area of research.

Although both sides have their own priorities, enhanced dialogue between Chinese and international scholars remains essential. Chinese historians require a platform to keep up-to-date on the progress of research abroad in order to broaden their horizons and deepen their own work. In the meantime, they also hope to present their own research findings fully.

For this purpose, Qing History Research Correspondence was founded in December 2011 by the Institute of Qing History as a multilingual periodical intended to serve as a platform for academic exchange. By collecting and introducing information, domestic and international, of different academic institutions and various research achievements, it reports the latest focus and research trends in this field to support the study of Qing history. The journal offers:

· information on seminars and workshops

· summaries of significant recent research results on Qing history

· introductions to important newly published historical materials
