About the journal: Xin Shi Xue (《新史学》）, first published in April 2007, was founded by The Institute of Qing History. The journal uses a rotating editor-in-chief system, focusing on addressing the methodological cutting-edge of the History discipline and exploring pathways of historical innovation. Seventeen volumes of the periodical have hitherto been published and have had broad impact in academia. Xin Shi Xue has now been listed in Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) by the Institute for Chinese Social Sciences Research and Assessment.
