The Qingfeng Academic Association, affiliated with the Institute of Qing History at Renmin University of China, is a student-initiated academic organization, primarily consisting of graduate students. Since its establishment in 2003, the Qingfeng Academic Association has played a significant role in fostering an active academic atmosphere, enhancing communication between faculty and students, promoting the academic reputation of the Institute of Qing History, and establishing a platform for Qing history research both domestically and internationally.

The Association has a Board of Directors and an Editorial Office of Qingfeng Academic Journal(《清风学刊》). It takes charge of hosting forums and salons, co-organizes academic conferences and lectures, and arranges field research trips. Notable events include the Young Scholars Forum, the Reading Seminar on Huangchao Jingshi Wenbian(《皇朝经世文编》), a courses in Manchu Language and Literature, and courses in Classical Tibetan.

 Qingfeng Academic Journal（《清风学刊》）

Qingfeng Academic Journal is an internal academic publication hosted by the Qingfeng Academic Association, under the guidance of the Institute of Qing History. As of September 2024, the journal had published twelve issues since its first issue in 2003. Drawing on the academic resources of the Institute of Qing History, Qingfeng Academic Journal is edited by graduate students from the Institute and invites contributions from young scholars from all over China. The journal strives to establish itself as an academic exchange platform for authors, editors, and readers collaboratively build and share resources. The scope of topics covers a wide range of fields, including Qing Dynasty political history, economic history, social history, intellectual history, frontier and ethnic studies, and philology. The editorial office ensures that all submissions receive a response, and it adheres to a rigorous review process, including expert peer review. Furthermore, the journal invites authors to participate in the “Qingfeng Academic Workshop” for in-person academic exchanges.
